Description: There is currently an issue accessing bristol-schools email accounts via Outlook (both the client and webmail appear to be affected). We are currently looking into the problem and hope to get this back up and running as soon as possible. We have found that in some cases, webmail can be accessed by using either Google Chrome or Firefox web browsers - http://mail.bristol-schools.co.uk

Description: Currently schools are unable to email the NHS via email addresses ending nhs.uk. This is an issue that is out of Bristol City Council's control. We have spoken to the NHS IT Helpdesk who acknowledge they have issues receiving emails and are investigating the issue. We urge school staff with issues to contact their NHS colleagues via other means and have them raise the issue to their NHS IT dept to have this problem investigated in more detail.

Description: Some schools are reporting slowness when accessing the internet. There seems to be no consistency with which websites are slow or where on the network the user is. The same website may be quick to access shortly afterwards. Investigations are underway, and we have identified that the issue is related to the firewall. The Networks team are currently liaising with the Firewall suppliers to identify and rectify the issue.

Description: replacement of squid proxy server "courage.bristol-cyps.org.uk" with upgraded server. Access via proxy.bristol-cyps.org.uk will continue as normal via pair. Any devices with courage hardcoded will suffer brief downtime. Downtime should be kept to a minimum.
