Description Currently schools are unable to email the NHS via email addresses ending nhs.uk. This is an issue that is out of Bristol City Council's control. We have spoken to the NHS IT Helpdesk who acknowledge they have issues receiving emails and are investigating the issue. We urge school staff with issues to contact their NHS colleagues via other means and have them raise the issue to their NHS IT dept to have this problem investigated in more detail.

2015-05-12 11:02:51 BST We have been contacted by NHS IT Support and have explained our experience. We are waiting for further investigations and feedback from the NHS.
2015-05-19 12:58:59 BST This issue is still outstanding and with the NHS IT dept. We urge school staff to raise it again with their NHS colleagues to help raise the priority of the problem. We have had no further update on this from the NHS directly despite chasing one week ago. (11th May)
2015-05-20 15:02:56 BST The NHS IT dept are now asking all affected schools to email all Undeliverable messages to relayhelpdesk@nhs.net and quote Ref 6817229
2015-06-03 15:02:28 BST We have had some feedback from the NHS Helpdesk. They have suggested a solution, but this was not successful. We have requested more information from the NHS and are waiting to hear back.
