2015-12-03 13:40:16 GMT | Update from Microsoft Azure: Starting at approximately 09:00 UTC on 3rd Dec, 2015, customers began experiencing intermittent issues accessing Azure services that use, or have dependencies on, Azure Active Directory. Engineering teams have identified an Azure Active Directory configuration error that is believed to be the root cause of the issue. The team has implemented an update to Azure Active Directory front ends to call a known good configuration, which has resulted in a significantly improved experience. Engineers are in the process of validating full recovery and an update will be provided in 60 minutes, or as events warrant. |
2015-12-03 14:01:36 GMT | Microsoft Azure have now indicated that "All services are working properly". PRELIMINARY ROOT CAUSE: A configuration error led to incorrect routing of production traffic. This resulted in the inability to access services dependent on Azure Active Directory authentication and services. |
