2020-02-05 11:49:37 GMT Configuration changes will be made overnight (5/2/20) to alleviate an issue that has been identified on the network. We will continue to monitor the situation
2020-02-06 10:41:20 GMT the change that was made overnight has improved speeds but we are still investigating issues with large downloads stopping midway through. Further information to follow...
2020-02-07 10:12:35 GMT The networks team are continuing to investigate this issue and will be undertaking further work over the weekend where services may be briefly disrupted for reconfiguration.
2020-02-10 14:02:46 GMT changes made over the weekend have helped narrow down where the problem lies and investigations are ongoing. We apologise for any continued frustration.

2020-02-13 10:06:55 GMT Further to the changes made overnight we are seeing an improvement in download times. Note that last night's change only affected two of the four netsweeper filter servers (NSPOLICY1 and 2). The remaining two will have configuration changes made today.

We will keep this incident open while we monitor the situation.
